The newest underwater activity is all the rage right now, and the clear waters around Cyprus are just the place to try it. You'll don a wetsuit and boots, but instead of goggles, you'll get a scooter, also known as a B.O.B – that's a Breathing Observation Bubble – so you can submerge for 30 minutes and admire life on the seabed, without even getting your hair wet.
It's ideal for those with no diving experience, anybody who doesn't like getting their hair wet or somebody who loves to try new things. You'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Ayia Triada Beach. From here you'll board a boat that'll scoot you across to the platform in the middle of the sea.
Now the fun begins – after a quick safety briefing, take the plunge alongside the bubble, with a helping hand from a qualified instructor. Then spend half an hour underwater on these high-tech, environmentally-friendly scooters, admiring marine life and how clear the water is, all without having to earn a diving certificate first.
