This half-day excursion takes you to Arcos, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. Perched on a limestone ridge with dizzying views down to the river Guadalete below, the old town boasts whitewashed houses and stone castle walls that abruptly end at a sheer cliff face. As an offical Historic-Artistic Monument, Arcos boasts numerous ancient corners and monuments of importance, including the churches of Santa Maria de la Asuncion and San Pedro.
Upon arrival in Arcos, you will board the tourist train up to the town centre and take in the panorama from the viewpoint. A walking tour follows, taking you through the main streets and visiting the Santa Maria de la Asuncion Church including the interior, and San Pedro Church.
