Wander narrow stone lanes, visit the old church, and take in the raw, authentic charm of this hidden gem. Next, head to Panagouda Monastery, quietly nestled in the hills. It's home to Monk Epifanios, who's lived here alone for over 30 years. The setting is tranquil, stripped-back, and deeply rooted in the island's spiritual rhythm.
Then it's up to Ipsarion, Thassos' highest peak at 1204 meters. The summit offers wide, open views across the island, the sea, and even the mainland on a clear day. On the way back down, stop for a simple snack among the trees.
