Op deze dagtrip vanuit Brussel nemen we je mee naar de Flander Fields waar je meer te weten komt over de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Het bezoek begint op de indrukwekkende Duitse begraafplaats waarna we ook de loopgraven uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog gaan bezichtigen. De volgende locatie is de Essex Farm Cemetery, waar John McCrae het beroemde gedicht In Flanders Fields schreef nadat een vriend hier werd begraven.

Ook nemen we je mee naar The Brooding Soldier, een reusachtig standbeeld ter nagedachtenis van het Canadese verzet tijdens de Duitse gasaanval in 1915, waar ruimte is voor een moment van herdenking en om foto's te maken.

Na de lunch bezoek je de Tyne Cot Cemetery (de grootste Commonwealth-begraafplaats ter wereld) en Hill 60 of Hill 62. De laatste stop van de dag is bij de Last Post Ceremony bij de Menenpoort, een eerbetoon aan alle vermiste soldaten en officieren van Groot-Brittannië.
