Join this experience, dedicated to all the lovers of small villages, who wants to discover the simplicity and the culture of the most traditional places.
You will meet your guide at your hotel and then you will leave for Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. There you could admire the particular white houses called 'Cummerse' (houses with sloping roofs built with dry stone), the Church of the Madonna della Greca, dating back to the 16th century, the church dedicated to San Giorgio, the evocative alleys, Palazzo Morelli with the clock tower and the panoramic terrace that sweeps the gaze over the Valle d'Itria, with the cities of Martina Franca and Cisternino on the horizon. Then, you will take part in a tasting experience, based on typical territory products like salami, jam, cheese, and toasted bread with a glass of red wine.
Then, you will head to Cisternino on board a minibus. Cisternino is one of the characteristic villages of the Itria Valley, walking through its characteristic alleys is like going back in time.
What makes Cisternino special are its rigorously white houses, leaning against each other, sometimes connected with arches and particular external stairways; an architecture born spontaneously that makes the ancient village truly unique. You will also participate in a oil tasting experience in a traditional mill before going back to your hotel.
