Get out of the city and go on an adventure as you explore the holy ruins of My Son. Discover its history from your local guide before making your way to a rice paper workshop hosted by a local family.
After a 1-hour drive through rural Vietnam, you will reach the historic complex of My Son, one of Vietnam’s most important Cham heritage sites. Skip the line and explore this architectural wonder before the tourists arrive. You'll learn about the original building techniques applied during construction and the traditional materials that were used. Look out for the numerous craters that were left here by American bombs from the war in the 1960s and 70s. After exploring the ruins, watch an Apsara dance demonstration beside the historic temples. On the way back to Hoi An, you'll stop at a rice paper workshop to test your culinary skills and learn how to make a delicious local snack. You will then sit back and enjoy your creations with a cup of Vietnamese coffee before heading back into Hoi An.
