The excursion includes a trip through the historical part of the city and central streets (Streets named after K. Marx, L. Tolstoy, M. Gorky). You can enjoy the Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Musa Jalil, Kazan Federal University, Lake Kaban, the Peter and Paul Cathedral and other interesting sites along the way. You will see the Virgin Monastery, the place where the Kazan icon of the Mother of God is kept.
During the excursion, you will also visit the area of the Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda (Old Tatar Quarter), where you will see the first stone mosque, houses built in accordance with the traditions of Tatar architecture, as well as handicraft rows and legendary Lake Kaban. The pedestrian part of the excursion includes a one-hour walk accompanied by a guide to the pearl of the city of Kazan which is the Kazan Kremlin (UNESCO World Heritage site), including the Kul Sharif mosque and the Annunciation Cathedral. Here you will see the famous Leaning Tower Syuyumbike.
