Tarangire National Park unique wildlife and landscapes make it for a magical safari in one of the best parks in the country. Take your camera for breath taking photos of the most charismatic magafauna on the planet. Often referred to as the 'Elephant Playground', Tarangire National park is also known for its giant baobab trees and predators. The park also hosts a large variety of spectacular bird-life including endemic species.
ITINERARY
Day 1:The game drive in Tarangire National Park will start after lunch. Herds of up to 300 elephants can be spotted. Look out for giant kingfishers, hoopoes and the delightfully-named white-bellied go-away bird as well. At the end of this exciting day, you will have dinner at the Burunge Tented Lodge where you will spend your night as well.
Day 2: After breakfast, leave the park and drive to Kilimanjaro. Once in the city drop off to the airport or to the hotel of your choice.
