The area of the Lagonaki plateau is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Caucasian State Nature Reserve. Your trip to Lagonaki does not require any special physical preparation and is suitable for travellers of all ages. This tour will introduce you to the most famous attractions of the area.
Your first stop is Maykop, the capital city of the Republic of Adyge, where you will visit the central part of the town.
Then you will be driven through the countryside to the mountain resort area of Lagonaki plateau, where you will visit Khadzhokhskaya gorge, the Cossack stone, the Big Azish cave and enjoy the viewpoints on Azishtau ridge.
After a typical lunch of local cuisine, a delicious combination of cheese, fresh bread and grilled spicy meat in hundreds of variations, you will take a leisure walk through a prehistoric forest of the Caucasian State Nature Reserve, where you will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the North Caucasus Mountain Range.
You will arrive back to Krasnodar late in the evening.
