You'll start the tour in Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional small Antioquian town. You'll also enjoy an incredible view over Medellín, as Natibura Hill is the perfect place to look over the city.
The next stop will be Plaza Botero, right in the center of Medellín, where you'll discover the unique style of Fernando Botero, one of Colombia's most famous artists. As you look at the sensational sculptures, you'll learn about Botero’s sense of humor and irony. Then, you'll admire the world’s largest collection of his paintings in the Museum of Antioquia and have a look at pre-Hispanic, Colonial and Contemporary art.
Later, you'll walk to Berrío Square, built in 1680, and considered the heart of the city. In the middle of the square, you'll see the Statue of Pedro Justo Berrío, who was once the governor of Antioquia and an important politician for Medellín and Colombia. From there, you'll walk to Junín Passage, a pedestrian street with all sorts of shops, bustling with street vendors and lively local life. After walking this little 'rambla', you'll go to Plaza de Bolívar, a place that holds the breathtaking Cathedral of Medellin.
After hearing fascinating facts and stories about the city, its art, and people, you'll end this tour in its most famous neighborhood, El Poblado.
