История
An exciting journey throughout European art from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. Immerse yourself in the history of painting, visiting the new exhibition at the Royal Palace in Milan: “From Raphael to Schiele. Masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest”, from September 17, 2015 to February 7, 2016. The exhibition was opened as part of a programmatic line that intends to bring to Milan the most important museum collections around the world, not always accessible and known to the general public.
The first one is that of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, which contains a very rich collection, one of the most beautiful in the world, with masterpieces from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. 76 of these works can be admired in Milan, including "Salome" by Lukas Cranach, the "Esterhßzy Madonna" by Raphael, "Married Couple" by Van Dyck, "Three fishing boats" by Monet, "Two women embracing" by Schiele.
