Poklonnaya Hill is one of the highest spots in Moscow while the WWII museum is one of the many and, at the same time, the most important part of the Victory memorial complex. This significant landmark first appeared as an idea, born during a competition for the best project of the memorial complex in honor of our Victory. The current Victory complex is a must-see for any history fan as it describes the Russian triumph over Napoleon and the WWII victory in full detail and in full glory.
Next on the list is the Victory Park metro station, lying at 84 meters underground. This is the deepest metro station in Moscow and one of the deepest metro stations in the world. Getting there takes a ride on the longest escalator in the world either. The shiny interiors of its halls add up to the glorious story, told above, by means of symbolic ornaments and themed mosaics.
