After catching the bus in San Sebastián, you will start this path in the town of Zestoa; where you will visit the Old Town, its streets and understand the relationships between history, landscape and nature. Then, you will continue along the Urola River on a very simple path with incredible views and admiring the rural landscape of the area. After a steep climb to reach the Ibañarrieta neighborhood you'll earn a reward for your effort, you will visit your guide's favourite favorite Sagardotegi (cider house), Ekain.
In the cider house, you will learn how they make their cider, juice and vinegar, in a more environmentally responsible way. In the cider house, you will also try typical dishes such as cod omelet and pecorino cheese with quince. You'll also have the chance to buy their products directly and without intermediaries.
You will end this experience with a one-hour tour to the medieval town of Zumaia, where your guide will be happy to suggest places to eat or show you how to return to your hotel after this experience.
