If you would like to learn about Cambodia's history of landmines and visit some of the country's temples, then this tour is for you!
Starting with a pickup from your hotel, take a trip to the Banteay Srei temple, which is built largely of red sandstone with intricate carvings on almost every surface. It's a small temple that remains in the best condition of beautiful Khmer Art Carvings. Then, you will visit the Banteay Samré, a temple in eastern Angkor, that was built in the early 12th century.
Along the way, visit the Landmine Museum and learn about Cambodia’s history of landmines. You may have a chance to meet with Mr. Aki Ra, the museum founder if he is around, who was trained as a child soldier during the Khmer Rouge regime and is working today as a de-miner. The museum also serves as a relief center and school for at-risk children from rural communities and for children who are victims of landmines. Once the tour is over, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
