Take part in this Côte de Nuits wine tour in the amazing region of Burgundy. You'll drive through the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, and Vougeot, and get some explanations on the terroir of Burgundy (soil, climate, sun exposition, grape varieties,...) and on the classification of Burgundy wines in 1er Cru, Grand Crus, and more!
You will start with a guided tour of the Château of Vougeot and its impressive historic wine cellars, refectories, ancient wine presses. It was founded in 1098 by monks, and today it produces one of the most famous wines in Burgundy, Grand Cru Le Clos Vougeot.
After a lunch break at your leisure, you'll enjoy a tour with a wine tasting in a local domain. Travel along the scenic Grands Crus road. The next stop will be at the famous vineyard Romanée-Conti. Considered as the most prestigious name of Burgundy, this plot of 1,8 hectares produces the most expensive wines in the world.
Then at 3.30pm, you will have a guided tour and a wine tasting in a local domain around Nuits-Saint-Georges. You will visit the cellar and share an authentic moment with the winemaker while tasting his local wines.
You will be driven back to the Beaune Tourist Office by 5.00pm.
