This whirlwind tour through the Costa Blanca is all about getting close to nature. You'll visit Santa Pola aquarium, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site palm groves of Elche and the city of Alicante. There's also the option of a boat trip to Tabarca Island.
First up is the aquarium in Santa Pola. It's small and compact so you'll be able to see everything from tiny sea horses to shark rays in good time. While in Santa Pola, there's an optional visit Tabarca Island – a 20-minute boat trip away. This tiny inhabited isle is one of the Costa Blanca's best-kept secrets.
In the afternoon, we'll visit Elche – a city with unique green lungs. Head to Priest's Garden to the east of the old town. It's filled to the brim with thousands of species of palms, cacti and many other plants. After a relaxing stroll through this oasis, we'll make our way to Alicante, the largest city on Costa.
