What to expect

The first stop will be the magnificent Chichén Itzá, where you’ll look at the step pyramid of Kukulkan (The Castle), known for the play of light from the equinox that casts shadows on each step to create an image of a serpent descending.

Then you’ll visit Valladolid, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Yucatan, known for the majesty of its temples and old neighborhoods that preserve its glorious past. Today it’s a peaceful city where you can admire beautiful old houses and enjoy its great commercial dynamism thanks to its strategic location.

Later you’ll head to Ik Kil, a beautiful cenote that once was a sacred place for the Mayans and its rituals for Chaac, the Mayan god of rain. Ik Kil is about 60m (200 ft) in diameter and about 40m (130 ft) deep. There is a carved stairway down to a swimming platform and beautiful long vines that reach the water below along with small waterfalls, these views while you swim will make this experience truly unique and relaxing.
