Suitable for all levels, this mountain biking tour ensures fun, sightseeing and an adventure out in nature. You'll cycle out to and from Jan Thiel lagoon via Caracas Bay Peninsula and Spanish Water, pedalling along off-road trails while looking out for wildlife and photo spots.
You'll be paired up with a mountain bike and helmet, then hop on the saddle ready to explore Curaçao. Firstly, you'll warm up by pedalling along Caracas Bay Peninsula, an area famed for its history which your guide will point out along the way. Visit Fort Beekenburg, built to defend the Spanish Water, as well as the former Quarantine Building.
Afterwards, you'll keep on cycling towards Jan Thiel lagoon by a single track that winds its way along Kabrieteen baai and Spanish Water. You'll soon arrive at the lagoon on the south-east of the island – a nature reserve known for its rich bird life and rare plants.
