Your safari will take you to Fossil and Camel rocks, after a pick up from your selected location, in a 4x4 land cruiser. On the way you will hear interesting facts about this land such as how it has evolved into desert from seafloor millions of years ago and still exhibits various kinds of marine fossils.
Then you will enjoy a 20-25 minute break in the desert. Take rest or, if you want, go for an optional quad bike ride while the Land Cruiser is prepping for the sand dunes. Your desert adventures start with a dune bashing drive that continues for about 35-45 minutes. You can also try other sports like sand boarding to go surfing over the soft sand dunes. At this same time, make it a point to capture the best sceneries of Fossil and Camel rock. When it is over, you will go to Al Khayma desert camp for even more fun.
At Al Khayma camp get seated in a tent/khayma and be welcomed with local Gahwa and Gaymat. Next, have a delicious BBQ lunch followed by desserts - a great chance to taste Arabic cuisines. Inside the camp, different activities are arranged. Try Arabian costumes, henna designs, shisha pipe smoking and a falcon photo-shoot. In addition, be an active spectator of Tanura and Nashaat show “group of ladies” dance. When camp activities are at an end, go for an evening ride on camelback. You can have a good desert sunset view (subject to timings).
You safari concludes with a drop-off service to your hotel.
