The inside story
The Chianti area - located in the Italian region of Tuscany - emerged in a very geologically homogeneous area. It is located south of the Apennines, between the latitudes which comprise Florence and Siena. It is a very popular area among tourists, not only because of the beauty of its stunning hills, but especially for the quality of its wines. This area of Italy is rich in food and wine tours, designed specifically for the lovers of good wine and the matching local specialties. A holiday in Tuscany will be complete only with some wine tasting!
Among these wines, you can not leave out the Chianti, a DOCG wine (Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin) that is produced in the provinces of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pisa, Pistoia and Prato.
