The phrase ‘getting away from it all' has never been more apt. A morning spent exploring the trails and secluded beaches of the uninhabited Lobos Island will provide that sense of calm tranquillity only found in a place where there are no cars.
To start off with, you'll get a real sense of adventure on the short boat ride from Corralejo. Once ashore, you'll pass tiny volcanoes en route to the Martiño lighthouse. Check out the views of Lanzarote from here. Enjoy a picnic in the shade before continuing westwards towards the La Caldera volcano. You can climb the short distance to the top and peer down into the crater. Then we'll make our way towards the little fishermen's outpost of El Puertito. Nearby there are lagoons and volcanic beaches.
The whole island is a nature reserve and your knowledgeable local guide will tell you all about its flora and fauna as well as its rich history.
