On this trip, there's a little something for everyone. Shop-'til-you-drop in Gran Canaria's biggest mall at Las Arenas, the designer boutiques of Triana or explore the bags of culture in charming areas like Vegueta – the choice is yours.
The day kicks off in Las Palmas – the only place on the island with an unmistakable big city feel. There's free time to bargain hunt in the boutiques and designer outlets, or stop for a coffee in one of the squares. In the Triana district, shoppers can head for the high street while culture vultures can set out to explore the maze of cobbled streets in the old town area of Vegueta.
On to Las Arenas, there's a chance to pick up a few souvenirs in the mall or visit Las Canteras – a lively city beach. Afterwards, you can stroll the surrounds of Santa Catalina Park or sit back, relax and watch the locals come and go.
