What to expect

Costa Rica is famed for its forests, streams, wildlife and volcanoes – and you'll see them all on this action-packed full day trip. With a canopy tour, a water slide, horse riding, a mud bath and hot springs, this is the ABC of jungle thrills and spills.

Get the day off to a flying start with a 12-platform canopy tour. You'll enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Guanacaste Mountains, which include the active Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Bounce and whizz your way through the rainforest on suspension bridges and ziplines. Then, you'll slide among the tropical wildlife on a one-of-a-kind 420-metre-long waterslide, as it snakes through the rainforest floor, shooting you out into a fresh water pool.

Lunch is a traditional Costa Rican affair with a buffet full of local specialities. Afterwards, you'll take to a horse or tractor for a visit to Buena Vista's spa. Here, you can soak away the afternoon in the tucked-away hot springs and thermal mud pools.
