The Tropicana is to Havana what the Moulin Rouge is to Paris so for some classic Cuban cabaret, this outdoor extravaganza will light up your night. Cue bikini-clad showgirls shaking gravity-defying feather headdresses and ruffle-sleeved dancing dudes beating bongos. The music is hot stuff, too, touching every Cuban genre from bolero to rumba and son to mambo.
Long known as the ‘circle under the stars', Tropicana blends Spanish and African musical influences with more recent styles such as rumba, mambo and Latin jazz. It's no wonder such a dazzling show is one of the jewels in the crown of Havana's nightlife.
With the option of dinner in any seating category, there's a half bottle of rum and two colas included for each guest too. So who knows, you might well end up swaying and shimmying to the rhythmical beats by the time the curtain comes down.
