The history and flavours of Vietnam go hand-in-hand on this half-day tour. You'll begin with a guided walk through the atmospheric streets of the Old Town before stopping off at a local market for the next part of the tour. You'll then get to create your own Vietnamese dishes during a cooking class at a family-run restaurant.
Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, Hoi An's Old Town is packed with buildings of historical and cultural significance, and boasts a number of streets that are off-limits to cars. You'll stroll past the many Chinese Assembly Halls and stop by the Japanese Covered Bridge while getting to know more about Hoi An's past and present.
Next, you'll go to a family-run restaurant for a local cooking class. The chef will run through the range of dishes you'll recreate, then hit the local market to stock up on fresh produce. Learn how to choose the best supplies, and discover some of the less-familiar ingredients, before heading back to start cooking. At the end, you'll sit down together to feast on all your creations.
