What to expect

Your journey will start as you leave Inverness over the Kessock Bridge, allowing you to experience stunning views over the Moray Firth. The first stop will be at Strathcarron hamlet, situated at the head of the sea loch, Loch Carron, between the rivers of Carron and Taodail.

Next, you will cross over to the little island of Eilean Ban before reaching the star of this tour: Skye. Your tour of this magical island will allow you to take in stunning views onto the Cuillin Hills and the Sligachan Bridge before heading to colourful Portree harborside for a fish and chip lunch. Afterwards, you'll head to Kilt Rock, where you'll get the best panorama to marvel at the waterfalls, cliffs and sea. Try and spot the mystical mountain Old Man of Storr from afar.

Making for the head of Loch Duich, you will arrive at Eilean Donan, one of Scotland's most picturesque castles which resides on its own island. You will have enough time here to tour the castle and its surroundings at your own pace before taking a chance to spot Nessie as you head through Invermoriston and drive along the shore of Loch Ness.
