At the end of the 18th-century Polish magnate and 'uncrowned king', Stanislav Pototski, presented his beloved wife Sofia with a truly royal gift: a splendid and huge park, named after her - Sofiivka.
The architects and the designers used the natural location of the Kamianka river to create artificial lower and upper lakes as well as many grottoes, waterfalls, and fountains. They were inspired by Homer's poems Iliad and Odyssey and all the glades and meadows bear the name from those legendary stories. You will be in awe by the fountain Snake, Chaos glade, and grottoes.
