What to expect

Head into the wildlands of Lapland of an unusual experience, to meet the one and only Lapland Shaman. A special man with a strong connection to nature. Discover the magic behind the northern lights and learn about the nature of Lapland and its mystic creatures.

Meet your guide and together you will drive towards Lake Jerisjärvi and enjoy winter landscapes during the 30-minute ride. Leave the bus at arrival in Keimiöniemi and you meet the Shaman in his kota, a Lappish tepee hut. Sit down on the reindeer skins and warm up around the campfire. The Shaman will tell you about the magic of Lapland and the gnomes that live in the lands. He will then endow you with good luck and dedicate you to the magical circle of Lapland.

Enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade pie while the Shaman shares stories. You will discover a bit about the Shaman, his life, his connection to nature and learn how he received his shamanism skills from his ancestors. Say goodbye to the Shaman and your driver will bring you back to Levi.
