Known as The City of Kings, Lima has many iconic places to visit which you will explore on this half-day city tour. Combining the modern and colonial parts of the city, you will start your experience with pickup from your hotel before visiting the beautiful districts of Miraflores and San Isidro; passing along the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Incan clay pyramid that has been a sacred site for centuries, then head into the city's historic center.
Walk along the history center’s main avenue, flanked by ornate colonial architecture and then you will find yourself in the middle of the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by exquisite buildings that serve as the country’s governmental center. Continuing onward, you’ll visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, a marvelous basilica with beautiful Spanish tiles and which holds the skulls of San Martín and Santa Rosa.
Afterwards you'll have some free time for more photos in the historical center, before heading to the Larco Museum, where you’ll dive in to the fascinating history of Peru, dating back over 5,000 years. After a guided tour through the museum, you be dropped back to your accommodation.
