Alentejo Coast is considered one of the most beautiful coasts in Portugal. You'll visit this region of long sandy beaches and of a wonderful river estuary. The region has the important Sado Nature Reserve habitat, also famous for its local dolphin population.
You will leave Cascais at 8.00am and head to Comporta beach, with a quick stop for coffee on the way. Once you arrive to Comporta you will have a couple of hours at the beach, to enjoy the sand, the sea and a drink in the local beach bar.
Afterward, you'll visit to Sado Estuary, including the famous and traditional "Cais Palafitico"; the region is also known for rice production and salt.
