- See the oldest castle in Slovenia and the medieval city Skofja Loka
- Walk the wooden path in Vintgar gorge
Start this tour from Ljubljana and head to the Alpine region. Stop right below the Julian Alps, where the magnificent alpine resort Bled is located. In this beautiful place you will see an old castle perched on top of a steep cliff, high above the glacial Lake Bled. Enjoy the spectacular views of the lake from the castle terraces.
You can take a boat ride on a traditional boat made by locals (the Pletna) and reach the only island in Slovenia, or visit the 26-metre waterfall Šum. Admire the river Radovna from a wooden walking path, Vintgar gorge. Next you will visit the Triglav National Park, where you can swim or canoe in Slovenia’s largest glacial lake - Bohinj.
During the trip you will have a chance to try Bled’s famous cream cake and the exquisite sour milk. You will also explore one of the oldest Slovenian towns, Skofja Loka.
