Some of the wineries hide another ethnology gem - Repnice cellars, with centuries-long tradition which was revived in the last couple of decades. Repnice cellars are a peculiarity of Bizeljsko region and were once used to store turnips and now more commonly for wine storage. If you want to taste good sparkling wine and take some beautiful photos Bizeljsko is the perfect place, as it is covered with green hills with plenty of vineyards scattered between small villages and forests.
