Discover ancient towns, authentic markets and age-old country estates in one tour. See a different side to Majorca with visits to a working aloe vera plantation, Arta farmers market, and Els Calderers country estate, rounded off with a tasty lunch of typical island dishes.
You'll pay a visit to a traditional farm in Santa Margalida where they grow aloe vera - the precious medicinal plant used in many health and beauty products. Then it's off to Arta. Crisscrossed with narrow cobblestone streets, this ancient town is perfect for a lazy stroll around its traditional market.
It's then time for lunch at a local restaurant. Try typical dishes like sobrasada sausage, roasted peppers, grilled pork and fish, all washed down with water and wine. In the afternoon, we'll take a trip into the past at Els Calderers country estate. This authentic Majorcan manor house gives a glimpse into island life of old. Lastly there's a stop to shop at a local pearl factory.
