What to expect

Jamaica's go-to spot for thrill-seekers is the Good Hope Estate – once a working sugar plantation, it's now producing bags of fun and excitement. Choose between three adrenaline-filled packages and you'll find everything from ziplines and quad bikes to river tubing, swimming and rum tasting.

You'll have up to 10 activities to choose from, ideal for thrill seekers and those wanting a more sedate time. Zoom above the forest in a zip-line adventure – including the longest in Jamaica – or explore on wheels with a quad bike or dune buggy safari.

Freshen up with river tubing or grab yourself a drink at the Appleton Rum tasting experience. And if history's more your thing, there are walking tours around the 250-year-old Great House with a horse and carriage ride around the grounds. There's even an aviary, obstacle course and swimming pool too.

Minimum age to operate the ATVs or Dune Buggies is 16 years old with a valid driver's license. Minimum height for the waterslide is 4 ft/120 cm. Minimum age for the Dune Buggy passenger is 12 years old. Maximum weight for nature adventure activities is 265 lbs/120 kg. Minimum age for Zipline & River activities is 6 years. Good Hope Estate info: Good Hope is a nature adventure park: some activities are at guests' leisure. Some activities are not guided, e.g. Bird Aviary & Challenge Course. River flow is seasonal. River activities may be done in tied-tubes or kayaks.
