The fortress is divided into two parts: an Inner Court with the Genovese Citadel and an Outer Court with the ruins of a Turkish minaret. Tournaments and festivals often still take place there. From the walls, you can see the excavations of the ancient Greek colony of Tyra. You will walk along the defensive walls, which are 12 m high and 5 m wide, and admire the Dniester estuary through the loopholes.
