Your day begins in Porto. You will start the tour and point to the east, where the Douro awaits you!
The first stop will be in Amarante. Here you will visit the famous church of Saint Gonçalo, a religious reference with influences from several different architectural styles. Here you will also have the opportunity of tasting some local pastries. Already in the Douro region, you stop at a wine estate in Favaios. Located between 1000 hectares of vineyards this centuries old Quinta will ease you in with their white blend, to then blow you away with the delicious nectar of golden color that is the Moscatel wine inside its sanctuary.
You leave now for the historic village of Pinhão where a regional lunch awaits you in a beautiful local restaurant. Now, with your stomachs filled, you will drive next to the river to the last stop of the tour. You will get to know a family-run wine estate that is a beautiful example of the range of extraordinary products you can get in the valley as they produce Douro DOC and Port Wine, olive oil and nuts! On your way back you still get a chance of visiting one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the region.
