This tour immerses you into the Mexico many visitors miss out on. You'll get to savour the flavours that define the country, hang out with a local character in his exotic garden, learn about enigmatic pre-Hispanic cultures and visit the rustic village of El Tuito.
Travelling in a 4x4 Unimog truck, you'll head to a garden 80 years in the making for a tour. You'll be shown around by a local with a passion for plants and Mexico's heritage. Next up is a visit to an area famed for its petroglyphs – ancient rock carvings of unknown origin. Then it's on to a creek for a feast of freshly grilled Mexican treats under the trees.
Rounding off the day is a visit to the remote village of El Tuito, which is nestled among the woods of the Sierra Madre. With its pretty church, colourful houses, cobbled streets and craft shops, it's a joy to walk around it. You'll also get to taste fresh-from-oven bread here, too.
