Then go even furthen down to reach two other ancient Roman buildings. See the 1st century pagean temple dedicated to the god Mithra, an eastern sun-related deity whose cult was imported from Asia Minor to Rome and spread above all among the military class.
Next explore the archaeological area of the Vicus Caprarius, just south of the Trevi fountain, where during restoration works on the modern Cinema Trevi remains of Roman buildings were found.
Here archaeologists found a reservoir of an aqueduct, the Acqua Vergine, connecting to the Trevi Fountain, as well as many items such as vases, statues, coins, mosaics, inscriptions.
