Walk under the famous Great Clock and learn a lot about the young French heroine Joan of Arc held prisoner and tortured from 1430-31.
Continue with Honfleur the prettiest harbor tightly packed with sailing boats. If the port feels a bit familiar, it may just be that you’ve seen it before…in paintings by the famous Impressionists like Eugène Boudin and Claude Monet! You will also see historic sight including St Catherine's Church in Honfleur. After that, you will have time to stroll around and where you will have a large choice of restaurants for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Giverny, the tiny village that was once home to impressionist mastermind Claude Monet. Besides getting to Monet’s personal home and atelier, you can walk all through the wonderful gardens where you will admire the famous “Japanese bridge” with its wisterias, azaleas and its pond.
