Rumour has it Cleopatra used to be a regular at the Dalyan mud baths. And on this half-day trip, you'll see that they've only got more popular with age. Then, once you're all reinvigorated, we'll head to Ortaca market for some free time to poke around its fresh produce-laden stalls.
It's the healing properties that puts them on the region's must-see list – the mud is supposed to completely revamp your skin. There's a method to the madness, too. First, spend some time wallowing in the mud pool. Once you're plastered in mud from top to toe, kick back and relax in the sun. It's the drying mud that's said to double as a super-strength de-aging mask. After showering off, you can have a dip in the natural sulphur pool, where the temperature hits a cosy 40°C.
Rounding off the morning is a visit to the weekly market at Ortaca. Haggle for some tasty fruit or maybe find a nice souvenir to take home. It's a great chance to mingle with the locals.
