What to expect

After a panoramic 40-minutes ride from The Hague, you’ll arrive at the bulb flower area around Lisse. Depending of the season you’ll see a landscape with colourful flower carpets in almost any colour you can imagine. You can stop to take some pictures on the way. Then you’ll continue to the true highlight of this tour, the Keukenhof park. This garden, once filled with vegetables and herbs now has the distinction of being the world’s largest flower garden, hosting some 800,000 visitors per year.

This guided tour will take you through the 32 hectares of gardens and 15 kilometers of footpaths, where millions of bulbs are planted each year. You’ll see tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and other spring bulbs of a variety of vibrant colors. See also the flower sculpture that is based on an annual theme. Stroll through the Japanese country garden, the English landscape garden, and the historical garden. Remember to bring your camera. This is an experience you won’t want to forget!
