Catch a glimpse of Cuba beyond the beaches and visit the raw tropical beauty of the Zapata peninsula. You'll visit a folkloric themed park, an indigenous village and a crocodile farm as well as enjoying an afternoon at a Caribbean beach.
The first stop is at Fiesta Campesina themed park, where you'll see some of the more folkloric aspects of the island's countryside. Then you'll visit the nearby Guama crocodile breeding farm. You'll be able to walk around pools where these endangered endemic reptiles live.
Then we head to Punta Perdiz on the eastern shore of the famous Bay of Pigs. You don't have to swim far to discover colourful coral, making this a great snorkelling spot. If that's not your thing relax on the beach and enjoy a seafood lunch – utter bliss.
