Spending time in nature reduces anxiety, boosts our mood and strengthens our immune system. That’s why this tour is focused on the outdoor spaces that surround the winery, where you'll have the opportunity to taste up to five wines paired with local specialties.
You will be welcomed by Carol or Silvia who represent the third generation of the Bonomo family. They will lead a tour focused on the history of the family and their business. After a quick overview of the winemaking process, you'll discover the areas where the winery's most prestigious wines such as Amarone and Sexaginta Family Reserve rest undisturbed.
As you enter the cellar rooms, you will be surprised by the fresh, clear hints of wood. This is considered a rarity in the basement of a wine cellar, possibly due to the presence of ultraviolet lamps which are used to sterilize the barrel rooms every night. The absence of bacterial load is one of the main techniques used to produce wines with reduced sulfites.
Once back to the vineyard, you'll discover the splendid Garganega grape, which is the most important variety for the production of white wine in the Veneto region. Reach the cross on top of a hill that dominates the estate for a breathtaking view of the wonderful landscape covered with vineyards.
A selection of wines accompanied by local cheeses will be waiting for you to come back under the shade of olive trees. Treat yourself to a tasting of five wines and olive oil in the vineyard: Custoza Superiore Ca del Magro DOC (the most awarded wine of the winery), Lugana DOC, Corvina IGT, Bardolino DOC and Bardolino Chiaretto DOC.
