An exciting part about the Echmiadzin complex is that all its churches are included in the UNESCO heritage list. The journey will start with visiting St. Hripsime Church, an Armenian Apostolic church of the 7th century in Vagharshapat. The following stop of the trip will be St. Gayane Church, only a walking distance from the Etchmiadzin Cathedral of 301.
Moving forward, we will take you to the making and tasting of the national dish “Dolma” in Machanents, a family restaurant. Dolma is a traditional Armenian dish made of rice, minced meat, grape leaves, cabbage leaves and a blend of the other ingredients. It is one of the top favorite dishes in Armenia. After tasting the delicious food, you will visit the exterior of St. Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral. We will continue the tour in Armenia and go to the St. Echmiadzin Treasury Museum. Afterwards, we move and provide you with the facility of traditional lunch. The next destination to follow is the Zvartnots temple. Interestingly, Zvartnots stood for almost 320 years before the collapse in the 10th century.
