Learn how to cook traditional Kazakh dishes at a local chef´s house on this half-day tour in Almaty. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Almaty and take you to the local chef´s house for the private cooking class. Your chef will teach you how to make the famous Lagman or Manty - you decide which dish you would prefer to prepare. Lagman is a Central Asian dish of pulled noodles, meat, and vegetables. Manty is a type of dumpling popular in most Turkish cuisines. Also, you will learn how to cook an authentic Uighur sauce for Lagman and learn how to make a dough and homemade noddles. Enjoy local tea and local wine with your lunch or tase traditional kymyz (fermented horse milk) or shubat (fermented camel milk).
After the cooking class, enjoy the meal you prepared and finish lunch with tea and local sweets before your guide takes you back to your hotel.
