Kumeu is the historic heart of winemaking in New Zealand. This afternoon tour visits 3 locally owned vineyards for wine tasting and includes a delicious vineyard platter at our final winery. We take care of the driving so you can relax and enjoy the wines.Even if you have never done a wine tour or been wine tasting before our guides make it a relaxed and enjoyable experience for a great afternoon out.
Our first stop is a wine tasting at Coopers Creek vineyard which offers outstanding wines from New Zealand’s best regions. Coopers Creek produce a wide variety of wines and are adventurous in their choice of grapes and blends. Next we visit the famous Hunting Lodge winery, steeped in history it offers a great range of locally produced wines.
Your final wine tasting is at West Brook Winery which will also include a fantastic vineyard platter. The wines reflect true varietal character and their unique regional origins. Without exception they are premium quality and have won numerous awards. The cheeses and meats on the vineyard platter are selected to match the Westbrook wines and you have time to soak in the scenery here while you try both.
