Visit one of Azerbaijan's newest wineries and the first in the country to be a certified organic wine producer. From Baku, travel along scenic landscapes to Shamakhi for a tour of the vineyard, winery and amazing tasting hall, then enjoy a tasting session.
Located in the village of Meysari in Shamakhi, grapes harvested in natural conditions and only hand-picked. Since the artificial preservatives, dyes, aromatizers and other chemical components are not used in the wine production process, organic wines are rich in vitamins and are distinguished by its own taste, color and aroma.
After you finish the visit at the winery, you will go to the village of Madrasa to have a local lunch with family and taste their home-made wine. Madrasa is the birthplace of local Madrasa grape named after this village.
Tour schedule:
10.00am – pick up from any address within Baku
12.00pm – be at the winery in Shamakhi and have a Guided tour through the vineyards, visit the winery, watch the process of wine production
2.00pm – finish the tour at the winery, leave for Madrasa village in Shamakhi
2.15pm – have lunch with a family in Madrasa
3.00pm – leave for Baku
5.00pm – arrive at your hotel in Baku
