What to expect

They're dressed to the nines in bejewelled costumes, sky-high heels and feather headdresses that touch the roof. But there's one twist – they're all men. The Calypso Cabaret Show is Bangkok's much-loved dazzling variety show featuring the famous ladyboys and entertainment that'll soon have you dancing on your feet.

Up to 70 performers will take to the stage at the Asiatique the Riverfront in a show to remember. There's glitter, sequined costumes, songs, dance, colour and everything you could want out of a fun night out.

The Calypso Cabaret Show is now more popular than ever before and you'll soon see why when you take your seat for 90 minutes of pure entertainment. You won't be able to keep your eyes off the ladyboys – or kathoey as they're known locally – as they perform everything from Korean pop, Chinese love ballads and dances to rival Lady Gaga.
