Your day trip begins at 9.00 with the pick up from your accommodation or a meeting point easy for you to reach. You will then go straight to Ostuni. Also known as the "White City" because of the color of its tiny houses, Ostuni is one of the most fascinating places in Apulia. Its impregnable old town, protected by high walls and perimeter cylindrical towers, is made up of a tangle of winding streets surrounded by white houses with flowery balconies. You will visit this amazing town for about 1 and a half hour and then you will head to Lecce: the Florence of the South!
Lecce will surprise and fascinate you for the majesty of the castle Charles V, its Roman amphitheater in Piazza Sant'Oronzo, its wonderful obelisk standing in the center of the Piazza, for the baroque Basilica of Santa Croce. The streets of the old town are an open-air museum.
You will visit this stunning pearl of Apulian Baroque and then you will have the chance to make a pause at a cafè or a restaurant in order to have a light lunch with the specialties of the leccese cuisine. At the end of the break you will return to your accommodation through the Adriatic Coast and its marvellous coastline. An experience not to be missed!
