This unique memorial centre is dedicated to the Second World War through the special history in the Ardennes; the location for the last German offensive won by the Allies.
With weapons, vehicles and uniforms, the Bastogne War Museum plunges you into one of the most dramatic periods in history. During your visit, you will live an immersive experience allowing you to follow the journey of four characters at the heart of the conflict, inspired by real facts.
The audioguide will allow you to follow the paths of an American soldier, a German soldier, a teacher from Bastogne and a 10-year-old boy so that at each stage you can see their thoughts and perspectives. The daily horrors are brought to life through the use of scenography, witness testimonial, many 3D videos installation making the visit emotional and mind-blowing. The route is also equipped with interactive terminals for young people.
Just a short away from the Bastogne War Museum, you can visit the Mardasson Memorial in the shape of an American star, completed in 1950 and dedicated to the 76,890 American soldiers who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives in the Battle of the Bulge.
